1. What We Collect
- No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or any identifiable information.
- Minimal Usage Data: We use
Google Analytics 4 (GA4), configured for anonymous tracking only like page views and events tracking (number of messages send, number of images created etc) - no personal info or messages content is collected.
2. Google Analytics 4
- Anonymization: GA4 anonymizes IPs and does not collect PII.
- Redaction: GA4 automatically masks any PII appearing in URLs or form inputs.
- Retention: Up to 14 months data, per GA4 defaults.
- No Sharing: We disable remarketing, Google Signals, and sharing with other Google properties.
- Legal Basis: Tracking is under legitimate interest to monitor and improve the app.
3. Cookies & Consent
- Technical Cookies Only: GA4 uses session cookies for visit tracking.
- No Consent Banner: Since no personal data is collected, no pop-up is used. (Note: EU ePrivacy may require cookie consent in the future.)
4. Third-Party Data Handling
- We’ve signed Google’s Data Processing Agreement and follow GDPR standards.
- We do not use widgets, CDNs, or any third-party that collects personal info.
5. Security & Updates
- Analytics data is secured via GA4’s infra, TLS, and access controls.
- If our practices change, we’ll update this policy and adjust the Effective Date.
6. Use of OpenAI API
- API Usage: pixpal.chat leverages OpenAI’s API to power our AI features.
- No Model Training: OpenAI does not use your requests to train or improve their models by default.
- Data Retention: OpenAI retains API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes them.
